Jen Study ("we", "us", "our") operates https://jenstudy.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we store it and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you give us, plus basic technical data our server records automatically.

Information you provide

• Enquiry forms: your name, phone number, email address, subject and message.
• Enrolment forms: your name, email, phone, WhatsApp number, city, qualification and institution, along with any message you add.
• Chat assistant: the messages you type into the website chat window.

Information collected automatically

• Your IP address and browser user-agent, recorded with form submissions to help us detect spam and abuse.
• Standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) if Google Analytics is enabled on this site.
• A session cookie that keeps forms secure and remembers your own application while you are on the site.

2. Payment information

Course payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment gateway. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking credentials and wallet passwords are entered directly into Razorpay's secure interface. We never receive, see or store them.

What we do store against your application is the reference data Razorpay returns to us:

• Razorpay order ID and payment ID
• Amount, currency and payment status
• Payment method type (for example UPI or card) and the date and time

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
• To process your enrolment, confirm your batch and issue receipts
• To contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about the program you applied for
• To send training-related information such as schedules, materials and certificates
• To improve our courses, website and support based on the questions we receive
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations

We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not send bulk marketing messages to people who have not asked for them.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

• Razorpay — to process payments you initiate
• Our hosting and email providers — who store the data on our behalf under their own security obligations
• Our trainers and counsellors — limited to what they need to deliver your program
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us.
• Enrolments and payment records: as long as required for accounting, tax and certificate verification (typically 8 years under Indian law).
• Chat transcripts: up to 12 months.

6. Security

• The site is served over HTTPS/SSL.
• Passwords for our admin portal are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes.
• All database access uses parameterised queries, and forms are protected against cross-site request forgery.
• Access to enrolment and payment records is restricted to authorised staff accounts.

No system is completely secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will inform you and take corrective action promptly.

7. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is inaccurate
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop contacting you about programs

8. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie required for form security and for showing you your own application confirmation. If analytics or tag manager is enabled, those services set their own cookies — you can block them in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site or enrol.

9. Children

Some of our guidance programs are intended for school students. Where a student is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian submits the enrolment form or is present for the first counselling session.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
